Randy Clinkscales Speaks in Olathe, KS and Chicago, IL

HAYS – Randy Clinkscales with Clinkscales Elder Law Practice recently spoke to the Kansas Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys in Olathe.

The title of his presentation was “Old MacDonald Had a Farm, Until He Needed Long-Term Care: Planning for the Rural Medicaid Client.” The discussion centered on what happens to a farm when a person needs long-term care; how to preserve the farm; how to protect the farm; and what happens if Medicaid becomes involved.

The National Association of Elder Law Attorneys is an association of elder law attorneys in the U.S. whose members provide services specialized in the elder law, dealing with finances, estate planning, long-term care costs, as well as health issues.

In April, Clinkscales also spoke at a national conference for elder law and estate planning attorneys in Chicago, Illinois. In attendance were over 50 attorneys from 27 different states. His topic of discussion was succession planning in a law practice.

Clinkscales is an elder law attorney with offices in Hays and Hutchinson. He has been a member of NAELA since 2004.
